July 2021 - The STAR foundation was proud to present a check to the Tomahawk K-9 unit for $1,000. We are thankful for all you do for the Tomahawk community!
July 2021 - The STAR Foundation had the honor of filling a grant to help the library buy this new water fountain and water bottle filling station. Be sure to check it out the next time you are at the library!
May 2021 - We love supporting awesome programs in our community like Our Sister's House! We recently filed a grant for them and we can't wait to see the positive changes they continue to have in our community.
December 2020 - Tomahawk STAR Foundation was happy to give WaWui a $5,000 grant to go towards their new interlocking rink mats. These mats will help protect the kids skates so they can maneuver through the rink. The new mats can be sanitized to keep the rink safe as well. WaWui, Tomahawk Hockey Association, Tomahawk Figure Skaters and Cerny’s Greenhouse matched the grant so the project could be completed.
September 2020 - These kits supply each student with their personal sound sources and manipulatives. The music kits were packaged by teachers and aides so they were ready for our students. The students really enjoy them!
August 2020 - Congratulations to everyone who worked on this amazing project! The STAR Foundation is proud to have been a part of this by giving a $10,000 donation. The Hatchet Pride Project was a private fundraiser organized by community members, coaches, and parents to assist the School District of Tomahawk to repair and upgrade their outdoor athletic facilities. Construction was completed in September of 2020. Take a 360 degree tour of Hatchet Field!
January 2020 - Thanks to the Tomahawk Star Foundation - Beyond Crayons and Chromebook grant, students put on their baker's hats and made holiday haystacks, chocolate sandwich cookie truffles, and rice cereal porcupine treats!
October 2019 - The Tomahawk STAR Foundation was happy to present Tomahawk Youth Football with a $2,000 grant to help purchase new helmets this season. We are glad we could assist in helping keep the kids safe with updated equipment. Let’s go Hatchets!
November 2018 - The Tomahawk STAR Foundation gave toward the new starting blocks for the Tomahawk Swimming Pool. We are proud to support the dedication and successful Tomahawk HS Swim Teams as well as the future use of these blocks.
